Feb Club Comes to Tarrytown, Feb. 25

Feb Club, 2016, has already begun.  Feb Club hits Westchester, when Yale alums will host an event in Tarrytown, Feb. 25 (Feb Club Emeritus photos)
It's February already.

For Yale alumni in the know, that means Feb Club and Feb Club Emeritus.  And that means 29 days (add a Leap Year day in 2016)  of Yale alumni gathering for at least an evening of revelry and reminiscing in all parts of the globe--from Boston to the Bay Area, from Charlotte to Chicago, and from Tokyo to even Tarrytown in Westchester.

For alumni not in the know, Feb Club is an opportunity to take a bite out of the doldrums of winter by giving Yale alums, young and old, an excuse to gather anywhere, everywhere, and just enjoy having had a common experience of having roamed the Gothic environs of New Haven. Feb Club Emeritus, Feb Club beyond Yale's walls, has now evolved into annual blue celebration where celebrants toast Yale from dozens and dozens of watering holes around the world.

Feb Club in 2016 will feature Yale events in places like Dubai, Rome, Paris, Madrid, Brussels, Bangkok, Bogota and Nairobi.  And Tarrytown on Thursday, Feb. 25.

For the second straight year, Krista Madsen '95 and others will host the Tarrytown event at the Cellar 49 at 49 East Sunnyside Lane (Tarrytown House Estate) from 7-10 pm.  Yale alumni and guests from any year are invited to join for drinks and/or dinner.

To register for FebClub-Westchester, click Tarrytown. The event is casual, informal, pay-your-own-way.

Feb Club Emeritus is now in its ninth year and usually draws over 5,000 Yale alumni to over 100 events globally. Blame it all on Yale '87, some of whose class members started it all when the idea struck them in late 2007.  In this Leap Year, the Yale Club of New York City launched festivities on Feb. 1 and will host the last event Feb. 29.
